If you like marine life as much as you appreciate the animals on land, you need to visit Tampa’s Florida Aquarium, where you can experience a dive with sharks or dolphins in addition to viewing the regular exhibits. The Florida Aquarium is a cool way to see the under-water realm.

For a different kind of attraction there is Fort De Soto Park, located on Mullet Key at the entrance to Tampa Bay. Although the location was first surveyed during the Civil War, the fort wasn’t built until 1898; it was added to the National Registry of Historic Places in 1977. It’s now known for its scenic, natural setting and local wildlife.
