I’ve been to fuerte 4 times. South of the island, Playa de Jandia is beautiful, best beaches and sand dunes in the world, real calm and relaxing. A little fishing port town called Morro Jable is fab, lovely bars and restaurants, great food and atmosphere. Definitely visit, I recommend it!
I’ve been there in 2008. It’s a real paradise!! I hope it will not be overcrowded over the next few years cuz its really pretty natural and relaxed there!

Hi Lisa ,Fuerteventura is quiet or not depending on which resort you go to , my favourite is Corralejo. Same applies to Lanzarote, Puerto Del Carmen is mad but fun and the other resorts are not quite as mad but still fun.
Went to fuerteventura last november, it was great but really quiet. I am going to lanzarote in june, just wondered if anyone else had been there, is it quiet as fuerteventura? thanks

I first visited Fuerteventura this year. I absolutely love it here, it’s incredible. I stay in Club las Olas in Corralejo. It’s fantastic. I couldn’t ask for any more from this place.
It truly is paradise and highly recommended. Hopefully can squeeze in 1 more trip there this year!!!

Fuerteventura is my home. It needs and deserves people to come and see what we have to offer. Unfortunately, we are not listed in many holiday brochures, not sure why as we have the best beaches in Europe. Come to Costa Caleta and meet some great people. Costa Caleta is more English than any other resort in Fuerteventura and we still maintain the Canarian culture. We also boast the best harbour in Fuerte with the diving center, jet skiing, catamaran, paddle boats & more. Enjoy Fuerte & enjoy Caleta!
