Queen Mary 2 Cruise Liner
A classic cruise liner in the best old-world sense, Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 represents the classic, elegant traditions of cruising, and yet still offers the modern amenities you demand. This ship sails on Caribbean as well as Trans-Atlantic routes, on which she’s truly most at home.
THE BEST OF TRAVEL TV – ALL DAY EVERY DAY!

Made in France, run by Cunard (Sam Cunard a Canadian who moved to Britain) a British Company PARENTED by U.S Carnival Corp. OH AND RMS QM2 = ROYAL MAIL SHIP QM2. Don’t forget SOUTHAMPTON written on her huge stern
Yes you can actually – there’s a cigar bar onboard.
Can you have cognac and cigars after dinner?
Carnival Corp USA bought Cunard in the mid-1990s and ordered the Queen Mary 2 in the late 1990s. Carnival Corp also owns Carnival Cruises, Princess Cruises, Holland America, Costa, Seabourn etc.
I saw the Queen Mary 2, such a fantastic ship! If I had the option I’d do the entire World Cruise no matter what the price.
Go for it, its “only” £800. Sure its a lot of money, but you only live once. Tighten the belt, save up and go!
What I wouldn’t give to do the trans atlantic crossing. Man,what an experience to just stand on the bow in the ocean with nothing but the wind and sea….
This time next week I’ll be on that sailing to new york!!!! SO excited!!!!
Go cunard! They gotta know what they are doing, they’re filthy rich! Who says the golden age of passenger ships is over, although it’s a shame people treat these things with such disregard.
I wish i could be on it one day!
QM2 was built/assembled in France w/components from all over the World. She is of course a British registered American owned liner/cruise ship.

Elizabeth, I don’t know if you’ll see this but I have to tell ya… 99% of the time, I delete comments from people who run non-travel sites but yours is amazing! What you’ve done with this idea (and it’s a good one all by itself) is awesome. Good luck with the site!!
